Though it is an unbeatable fact that
Istanbul is the most attractive tourist spot in the Turkey, there are quite
many cities in the country which need your attention. The various reasons that
they are good at can come as a surprise to you because not much is spoken about
these places while promoting tourism. It is wise to consider exploring these
unknown places and making the most of your Turkey e Visa.
The first one in our list that is
worth visiting other than Istanbul is Van.
1. Van: The name is a little amusing
as it is quite funny to think that any city could be named as Van. But it is
important to note that this city is not named as in English Van for a vehicle
but after the Turkish saline Lake Van. There is also a popular cat breed that
is known as Van Cat which has different lens color in each eye (if you would
want to have a look, just in case).
The breakfast and the dessert that
is found here is very delicious and the surrounding areas of the Salt Lake are
beautiful.
2. Konya: It is said that this place
was the final destination of Rumi-the Sufi mystic and is famous for Sufi
literature, Sufi music and Sufi dance called as Whirling Dervish Dance.
3. Gaziantep: Middle East is the
world’s largest Dry Fruit exporter and this Gaziantep is the heart of all
Pistachio production.
4. Sinop: It can be found on the
northern banks of the Black Sea where a Roman temple is converted into a Church
and also a famous Greek Fortress that stands proud in the middle of the city.
5. Diyarbakir: This city was once
inaccessible until recent years as there is a Tigris river upon which this city
was built. Apart from a thousand year old church, going around the city
surrounded by black walls gives an unusual experience.
It is agreeable that attaining Visa for Turkey
has become very easy as these days the Turkish Visa Application is made
available online. So why wait for a perfect day to plan a trip? Anytime is a
goodtime.
